President/Producer

German Michael Torres (GMT) has over 20 years experience as literary manager, Producer, Development Executive, and packager. He began his career at ICM where he helped package such films as Proof Of Life (Meg Ryan, Russell Crowe), and Moulin Rouge (Nicole Kidman, Ewan Mcgregor) and repped literary and talent clients such as Tony Gilroy (Bourne Identity), Dustin Hoffman, Craig Pearce (Great Gatsby, Moulin Rouge) and many other A-list writers and directors. He went off to create and package the award nominated series The Chronicle for Syfy Channel with writer Silvio Horta which kicked off his producing and development success.  He caught the attention of Peter Roth at Warner Bros. and was hired to run development for an innovative production division. Soon after he helped manage and package client’s work with manager Andrea Simon,  who repped Will Scheffer, creator HBO Emmy nominated series BIG LOVE , among other established TV and Film literary talent.  He developed and produced a Julia Roberts Pilot with Elaine Goldsmith Thomas for Lifetime/ABC Studios, More of Me w/Molly Shannon for Lifetime/Howard Braunstein, a true crime project with Dwayne Johnson for 2C, 7 Bucks Entertainment, and more.  He recently produced the Netflix trending hit, Truth or Dare, SyFy Channel’s Karma, and noir thriller Kill Chain for Amazon Studios.  In the unscripted space his first docu-series was From Beyond for Mun2 Network/NBC Universal/SyFy Channel, the first US Latino paranormal docu-series.  He is currently re-developing  Life With Girls, a pilot based on his life originally at CBS.  He is producing a romantic comedy for Netflix for 2021, Amends, a dramedy starring Alec Baldwin, Hedy Lamarr Story, and an animated series with Mark Fellows, and an diverse slate of TV and Film packages.

He came up in the business and learned from the best producers in Hollywood such as Denise DiNovi (Batman 2, Edward Scissorhands) for whom he worked for several years, Mark Gordon A-list producer of film and television (http://variety.com/2010/biz/news/pga-s-mentoring-guru-1118017435/), and his producer guild mentor Suzanne Todd (Alice Through The Looking Glass, Austin Powers Movies, etc.)
 
GMT is a member of the Producers Guild of America, The Television Academy of Arts and Sciences, and former Board of Directors for NALIP (National Association of Latino Producers).  In 2001, in response to the lack of diversity within Hollywood, he founded Professional Latinos In Entertainment (PLIE) a non-profit dedicated to helping Latinos make it in the entertainment industry and promoting diversity within the Hollywood and global communities (https://www.facebook.com/groups/Professionallatinosinent/. PLIE funds short-film projects and produces workshops for Latinos free of charge. Some of their sponsors include Anheuser Busch, Coca-Cola, ICM, CAA, Disney, Chivas Regal, and others. "The Last White Dishwasher," a social satire about a dishwasher and taking pride in a hard days work, was part of PLIE's Filmmaker Discovery Program that gave an up and coming filmmaker a opportunity to direct and exposed them to the entertainment community. 

He has a B.A. in Psychology and minor in Religion from CA State University, Northridge.  He is currently repped by WME./ Inclusion Management.

ERIC BRENNER
PRODUCER/FINANCE

Eric Brenner (ETA FILMS) has worked in media and finance since 1992. He began his career in the motion picture industry in the development department at Sandollar Productions (Father of the Bride, Sabrina, IQ).  In 2002 Brenner took his knowledge of raising capital and business management and formed Global Direct Marketing Solutions, which saw immediate success as a sale and marketing company. The company grew to over 120 employees and focused on the debt, mortgage and healthcare industries. At the end of 2005 Brenner sold the assets of Global Direct to a Los Angeles-based media company. Over the next several years Brenner raised capital and placed private equity in a number of opportunities both domestically and abroad. With a focus primarily on startup and expansion funds, Brenner successfully helped capitalize over twenty businesses since 2005.

In 2008, Brenner helped found Informant Media where he structured finance for the company. He was instrumental in the financing of Informant’s films including the Academy Award- winning Crazy Heart, Hysteria, Erased, Stuck in Love, Kidnapping Mr. Heineken with Anthony Hopkins, Sam Worthington and Jim Sturgess and Hear My Song starring Dustin Hoffman and Kathy Bates. Mr. Brenner has also independently produced and sold several lower budgeted genre films including Amnesiac starring Kate Bosworth and Wes Bentley and Miss Meadows starring Katie Holmes. Brenner recently formed ETA Films which is currently working with debt, equity and production facility partners to finance and produce four to six independent films a year. The company wrapped production in Bogota, Colombia on Blunt Force Trauma, an action road picture starring Ryan Kwanten, Freida Pinto and Mickey Rourke and ETA Films structured financing and brought the equity for Misconduct which was distributed by Lionsgate Premiere and stars Al Pacino, Anthony Hopkins and Josh Duhamel.  Eric recently has helped finance and produced, All I Wish starring Sharon Stone, Tony Goldwyn, Ellen Burstyn and Famke Janssen for NBC / Universal. the noir thriller The Kill Chain starring Nicolas Cage (Amazon Studios, Millennium Media, etc.), Haunting of Sharon Tate w/Hilary Duff, Echo Boomers w/Michael Shannon & Patrick Schwarzenneger Amityville Murders (Starz), and more.

Brenner is a graduate of Columbia University in New York City. He received his Masters in Banking and Financial Services Management from Boston University
